WHAT IS THE ROADATHON?
Starting on July 1, 2002, Mark W. Curran drove Route 66 Westward from Chicago on a 30 day whirlwind tour as an Elvis Impersonator, performing at stops along the way to celebrate the Mother Road and its unique contribution to America .
MISSION STATEMENT
To bring about an awareness of Route 66 as a national treasure from the unique perspective of an Elvis Presley impersonator. To rejoice in celebration of both America and its music, from a time when they showed boundless promise and the hope of our dreams fueled our national expansion and the highway served as the figurative and literal path to endless possibilities.
